From San Francisco: Take 101 north/I-80 east to the Bay Bridge and I-580 east toward Hayward/Stockton. Take the second MacArthur Blvd. exit (after High St.). Bear right onto MacArthur Blvd. The Mills gate is immediately ahead on your left.
From Downtown Berkeley: Take Ashby Ave. to Tunnel Rd. and onto Highway 13 south. Take the San Francisco exit onto I-580 west, stay in the exit lane, and immediately take the MacArthur/High St. exit. Turn left at the stop sign and proceed under the freeway overpass. Turn left at the light onto MacArthur Blvd. The Mills gate is immediately ahead on your left.
From Downtown Oakland: Take I-580 east toward Hayward/Stockton. Take the second MacArthur Blvd. exit (after High St.). Bear right onto MacArthur Blvd. The Mills gate is immediately ahead on your left.

To Carnegie Hall
If driving, obtain a guest parking pass at the gate and drive straight until you reach the first intersection. Turn right onto Kapiolani Road, then make your first left onto the roundabout (‘The Oval’). Carnegie Hall (#44 on the map below) is located at the far end of The Oval. For additional parking, make a right onto Wetmore Road. Any undesignated commuter parking on campus is available, though parking on The Oval or along Wetmore Road is closest to the symposium location.
